What you can expect:
Learn from the professionals
During your 24-month practical traineeship at the Wolfsburg site, you will complete three to four-month assignments in the different departments of Volkswagen Group Communications and Volkswagen Brand Communications. This will provide you with a comprehensive insight into our public image and brand leadership.
Solid training
You will attend high-quality seminars at the Deutsche Akademie für Public Relations (DAPR) and the Akademie für Publizistik in Hamburg over the entire course of your practical traineeship with us. The practical traineeship concludes with the "Kommunikationsreferent DAPR" (DAPR Communications Officer) examination. In addition, you have the opportunity to participate in a series of in-house training sessions.
Broadening horizons
You will spend a one-month placement in the editorial office of an external publisher or in the communications department of another company so that you gain another perspective and experience a different approach.
Plan and implement own ideas
One of the most important programme modules involves you developing your own flagship project and then implementing this independently.
From A for Audi to T for Traton
Because international experience is important for global projects, you will spend up to three months at one of our Group locations abroad.
